Waste Management Facilities

The Galloway Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) has been in operation since 19th October 2006.
The MRF is a processing facility that sorts and bales paper, glass, plastic and metal containers before selling them to local or overseas industries which use recyclables in their manufacturing process.

Our aim at Galloway in working in partnership with our customers to be the premiere source for our customers’ sustainable environmental solutions. Galloway is the environmental services company that provides the sustainability platform for business and industry.

It is our commitment to educate our customers on how we extract the value from waste in ways that enhance and protect the environment. At Galloway our role is to manage our customer’s wastes: advising them on waste reduction and recycling, working on new ways to extract value from otherwise wasted materials.
Materials that are brought back to our MRF are sorted and separated by a team of dedicated staff.

Our aim is to divert as much product from landfill as possible.
At the Galloway MRF a team of sorters, drivers, technicians and support staff are all an important and valued part of our business to ensure that our core accountability, to maximise the waste extracted from collection and reduce the volume of waste sent to landfill remains at the forefront.
