Collection and Transportation

The waste management plan and solution that Galloway puts in place for you after conducting a waste audit will determine

• The type of vehicle or transport required for collection
• The positioning of the bin or vessel at your site
• The type of bins required - General waste, Paper and cardboard only or Commingle etc
• Signage and an Education program regarding the best practices for recycyling for all staff or contractors
• The service and times required to manage your waste

Recovery at the source

• All waste collected will be processed at our resource recovery centre , Seven Hills MRF
• The waste management facility at Seven Hills uses both manual sorters and automated conveyers and processes for separating this valuable waste stream

Recycling and Waste Disposal
The materials below have been diverted from the commingled dry waste stream brought to our MRF where they are sorted and baled and these recyclable products are sold to the local Australian market or exported to Recycling facilities overseas closing the loop.
